We'll use this site to provide the background for our class and explain
the assignments you must complete and the exams you must take. People don't want to spend time figuring out what the instructor
wants, so our home page will highlight the most important features of both our class and our web site. We'll think of
the home page as a kind of portal, giving students the information they want at a glance, and offering lots of links to draw
them in to the rest of the site.
I'm sorry about all the pop-up ads on this website, but Tripod-Lycos provides the web space
for free, and it is a great company! I have no control over the content of the ads, but they usually deal with
educational topics.
